Stories From the Programme
View More Stories →
In Term 2, the Mobile Computer Lab bus visited Academic Advantage Academy for a hands-on training session, with students rotating through the bus in small groups to get real time on a computer. For many, it was their first chance to sit at a keyboard and follow a lesson step by step with a trainer at their side.

Palmer Institute learners joined the Mobile Computer Lab for a session focused on staying safe online, working through practical exercises on the bus with support from our trainers throughout. The visit built on earlier programme sessions at the school, giving students more confidence at the keyboard.

During Term 1, students at Montrose Girls High School took part in a guided Mobile Computer Lab session, working in pairs at the stations while trainers moved between groups offering support. The visit was part of the programme's wider engagement with the school through the term.
